How does it work?

  • A pawn is a deposit (an object) with a pawnbroker as security for money lent made based on collateral that you bring to our store, such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and tools or just about anything of value. Using your own personal property as collateral for a pawn is a fast and easy way to get quick cash for life’s emergencies. We can write a pawn from $5.00 to $50,000 and even more!
  • Please Note: All pawn transactions are done at our physical locations only and you will need a valid Government Issued ID.

  •  We  buy many items of value including firearms, gold or silver coins, power tools, electronics, optics, even some larger items like recreational vehicles and trailers. Let us know what you need and we will do our best to help you.
  •  We also offer all kinds of used and pre-owned merchandise for purchase. If you’re looking to complete a project and don't want to pay   Box Store prices, buying from our Pawn Shop is the easy and fast alternative.

  • A pawn is a quick, convenient and confidential way to borrow money!
  • Fast, Easy & Friendly! We accept almost any item for a collateral pawn.
  • We give you cash on the spot, and you can pickup / redeem the pledged at a later date. It's that simple.

How much does a pawn cost and how long can I leave my item in pawn?
Pawn Experts offers low interest rates of 10-20% per month. We offer a 30 day pawn with a 10 day grace period so you can go up to 40 days initially without making a payment. As long as you make your monthly interest payment we will hold your merchandise for you until you can pay the pawn in full. And if you decide to forfeit the pawn, no problem, we consider your collateral as payment and place it in our inventory for sale.
Can I pay extra on my pawn or do I have to pay the principle back all at once?
You can pay any extra amount you’d like towards the principle of your pawn as long as your interest payments are due. Whenever you pay on your principle, this will bring your interest fee down, always keeping the interest rate the same per month.
How does Pawn Experts determine the value of an item?
Pawn shops base the value of the item on current appraised value, its current condition and the ability to sell the item. Pawn Experts uses research and reference guides to determine an item’s value to get you the most money for the item. The appraisal process varies depending on the type of item—for example, jewelry is evaluated differently than electronics. All items that Pawn Experts buys or offers pawns on are tested to ensure that they work properly. Pawn Experts does not give price quotes over the phone, e-mail or text message.
How do I know the item I want to purchase isn’t stolen?
Less than one tenth of one percent of all pawned merchandise is identified as stolen goods. That’s because customers must provide positive identification and a complete description of the merchandise. This information is then regularly transmitted to law enforcement, which dramatically decreases the likelihood that a thief would bring stolen merchandise to a pawn store.
Can I pawn my gun?
Yes! Pawn Experts is a Federal Firearms licensed dealer and we offer pawns on firearms. Please be aware that if you choose to use a firearm as collateral you must be able to pass a background check when you pick up your gun. The state of Colorado charges $10.50 for the background check which you will be responsible for paying when redeeming your pawn.
Can someone else pick up my pawned item? What if I lose my pawn ticket?
No! Only you with your identification can pick up your item, even if someone else has your pawn ticket they can not redeem your item. The only way someone else can redeem your item (excluding firearms; any firearm must be redeemed by the individual who pawned it ) is if you have made arrangements with Pawn Experts at the time the pawn is written.
